WATERVIEW RECREATION RESERVE

Public BBQ

Waterview Recreation Reserve boasts premier sporting facilities rivaling professional venues. Two immaculate ovals—one matching MCG dimensions, the other Marvel Stadium size—feature excellent drainage and pristine surfaces. Home to Mernda Cricket Club, football clubs, netball teams, and calisthenics groups, the reserve buzzes with activity throughout the week. Outstanding clubrooms provide quality food at reasonable prices, though the machine-made coffee disappoints. A basketball court and two cricket nets complement the main fields, while perimeter footpaths create perfect walking tracks for fitness enthusiasts and dog walkers. A children's playground sits 200 meters away, completing the family-friendly offerings. This beautifully maintained complex serves as the northern suburbs' finest sporting ground, hosting everything from local competitions to prestigious finals.
